Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the Yenching Academy Scholarship, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Academic Background:
   • A Bachelor’s degree in any field or be on track to complete one by August 31, 2025.
   • An outstanding academic record.
2. Interdisciplinary Focus:
   • Strong interest in the interdisciplinary study of China.
3. Extracurricular Engagement:
   • A proven record of extracurricular activities, community engagement, leadership, and social responsibility.
4. English Proficiency:
   • Non-native English speakers or applicants from non-English-taught programs must provide an English proficiency test score:
     • IELTS (Academic): Overall 7.0
     • TOEFL (iBT): Overall 100
     • Cambridge English Scale: Overall 185
     • CET 6: Overall 600
     • TEM 4: Pass level of “良好” or above
   • Applicants from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions are also required to submit English test scores unless they have completed a degree in an English-taught program.

Note: Students may not be enrolled in any other degree program while studying at Peking University.

Applicants can apply through the Yenching Academy’s online admissions portal, where they must submit the following materials in English:
