Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) China Government CSC Scholarship 2025 Open

Harbin, China – The Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is now accepting applications for the Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) program for the 2025 academic year. This prestigious scholarship offers international students the opportunity to pursue fully-funded master’s and doctoral degrees at one of China’s leading science and technology universities.

HIT, renowned for its strong emphasis on research and innovation, provides a diverse range of programs in fields such as engineering, computer science, management, and architecture. The CGS scholarship covers tuition fees, on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and a monthly living allowance (CNY 3,000 for master’s students, CNY 3,500 for doctoral students).

To be eligible, applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, with a bachelor’s degree (for master’s programs) or a master’s degree (for doctoral programs). Age limits apply: 35 years for master’s applicants and 40 years for doctoral applicants.

Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must demonstrate Chinese language proficiency through HSK level 4 scores or provide a Chinese language instruction certificate. English-taught programs require TOEFL or IELTS scores, or an English language instruction certificate.

The application process involves completing the online application form on the CSC website (http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/) and submitting all required documents to HIT (https://studyathit.hit.edu.cn/18366/list.htm) by the deadlines: Stage 1: December 31st, 2024, and Stage 2: February 20th, 2025.

Required documents include a passport copy, academic transcripts, language proficiency certificate, a study plan, recommendation letters, a physical examination record, and a non-criminal record report
